ALBERTA LACROSSE ASSOCIATION WELCOMES MANAGER OF OFFICIATING

December 22, 2017, Sherwood Park, AB—The Alberta Lacrosse Association (ALA) is proud to announce and welcome Tony Reid as the organization’s Manager of Officiating. Reid will be responsible for administrative assistance to the Executive Director, Senior Manager of Development, and to the Alberta Lacrosse Referee Association (ALRA) along with coordinating and assisting the administration of the ALRA’s officiating clinics and any relevant committees. Furthermore, Reid will be responsible for assisting with Alberta Summer Games, Provincials, and National Championships, while maintaining the ALRA’s website and social media.

He joins the Alberta Lacrosse Association from BNI Capital Connections, a referral networking organization and Ritual Fitness, a local fitness company. Reid has been an official for over twenty years, Alberta’s Representative in the Canadian Lacrosse Association’s National Officiating Certification Program, as well as serving as the Alberta Lacrosse Referee Association’s Lead Clinician.  Tony has officiated and numerous National Competitions, as well as the World Box Championship in Syracuse.
