Photo Contest

Contest Objectives

To foster community, build out the ALA's photo library, we're launching an exciting photo contest! This initiative invites members to share their unique perspectives through photography, contributing to a growing visual archive that celebrates our shared experiences. Participants will not only help enrich the ALA’s image collection but also have the chance to connect with fellow members, showcase their creativity, and win fun prizes.

Contest Theme: Home Team Pride

Show us what Home Team Pride means to you! Whether it’s the energy of game day, team camaraderie, or behind-the-scenes moments, we want to see your best shots that capture the spirit of Alberta lacrosse.

Prize Pack

A prize pack of ALA-themed goods and a $100 gift card to an ALA Preferred Vendor is convenient for the winner. A list of possible locations will be provided to the winner.

Rules

1. Must be a registered ALA member in good standing.
2. Entries must be emailed to Jessica Fredrickson and include:
   
   • Full Name
   • Phone Number
   • Email Address
3. Only entries submitted via the official email will be accepted. Photos must also be posted on social media, tagging the Alberta Lacrosse Association.
4. Contest Duration: May 21 to Jun 21, 2025 at 12:00 pm
5. All submitted photos must:
   • Be original works taken by the entrant.
   • Not be altered (no adding, removing, or distorting elements).
   • Not infringe on any intellectual property or privacy rights.
   • Not contain disrespectful, hateful, or harmful content.
6. All entries will be judged by the Alberta Lacrosse Association panel. Decisions are final.
7. By entering the contest, all entrants grant the ALA a license to use submitted photos for ALA events, social media, communications, and promotions. This is a non-exclusive license; entrants may use entered photos for other purposes.
8. Late entries will not be considered.
9. The prize is non-transferable and must be claimed by the winner.
10. Winners will be contacted by email. If no response is received within three business days, a new winner will be selected.
