Canada Summer Games 2025


 

Men’s and Women’s Box Lacrosse returns to the Canada Summer Games program after originally being on the program from 1969 - 1985, and will be featured at the 2025 Canada Games taking place in St. John's Newfoundland and Labrador from August 8 to 24, 2025.

Consisting of over 5,000 athletes and coaches, the Games will welcome our nation’s next generation of national, international, and Olympic champions as the best young developing athletes from across the nation assemble to compete in Canada’s largest multi-sport event.

U17 Male/U17 Female

Scheduling Information

Practices and training throughout the year. With winter development camps.

Call Out to Coaching Staff:
Canada Summer Games 2025 Expression of interest

The ALA is currently requesting expressions of interest from interested coaches for the 2025 Canada Summer Games Teams. The U17 Coed and U17 Female teams will compete in Newfoundland in August 2025.

Requirements:

  • Minimum comp intro certified current status.

  • Ability to obtain comp dev trained or certified status prior to competition.

  • Commitment to winter development program regionally in addition to normal program phases.

  • Demonstrated high performance experience and success at National level.

Important Information

Only selected, qualified candidates will be contacted to move forward. Coaches may be asked to complete a portion of certification, training, and camps without guarantee of being on the final coaching staff.

Lacrosse resume accompanied by the current level of certification and NCCP number shall be forwarded to the Technical Director by September 16.
