Minor Box Lacrosse Provincials were held at the Calgary Soccer Centre on July 11-13. It was a great weekend of lacrosse featuring 2 overtime games in the medal rounds. Thanks to all the coaches, managers, volunteers, organizers and parents who made it a great ending to a great season for all of these players. Final medal winners are below.

Kim Smyth: Dedicated Community Volunteer
Kim Smyth has been a dedicated member of the Central Alberta Lacrosse League (CALL) community for over 20 years, contributing in countless ways as a parent, coach, administrator, and official. Throughout her time with CALL, Kim has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the growth of lacrosse at both the grassroots and competitive levels.
As a passionate advocate for youth sport, Kim regularly volunteers her time to visit schools and community programs across the CALL region. With her trademark enthusiasm—and a plate of homemade cookies in hand—she brings the rich history and honour of The Creator’s Game to life for students of all ages.
Beyond the rink, Kim is recognized as a respected community leader whose volunteerism and mentorship have inspired countless young athletes, families, and fellow volunteers. Her contributions have not only helped strengthen the sport of lacrosse in Central Alberta but also fostered a broader sense of community connection and pride.
