The 2025 Founders Cup Wraps in Calgary
The 2025 Founders Cup was a huge success, showcasing the best Junior B Tier 1 lacrosse players from across the country. The host team, the Calgary Shamrocks, welcomed lacrosse fans to Seven Chiefs Sportsplex on Tsuut’ina Nation to take in exciting matchups from the eight
participating teams. What was even more impressive than the crowds that came out to cheer teams on was the online reach of the event. The Founders Cup saw huge numbers of viewers from coast to coast joining commentators Tino Fera and Cody Janzen on the BCSportsTV
livestream broadcasts.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of Shamrocks families and alumni, the Founders Cup Organizing Committee and Calgary lacrosse lovers who volunteered their time during the week, the 2025 Founders Cup was a world-class event that celebrated Canada’s national summer sport while
also highlighting Alberta lacrosse.
