Gord Henry is from the Rockyview Lacrosse Association. In 2016, Gord coached the Bantam boys to a Silver medal at Nationals. Gord won bronze medals in both 2014 and 2015 with the Peewee boys. Gord is always able to get the best out of each player on his team. He is a 3rd generation lacrosse player and grew up playing in Delta B.C., winning 3 Jr. B Championships. He is committed to helping lacrosse players of all levels understand the game and develop the skills to move to the next level. Gord has coached at all levels of lacrosse and ran developmental camps. Gord is the Technical Director with Calgary Sabrecats as well as has been working with Okotoks Mustangs Field Lacrosse Club for the past year.
Sarah is returning from 2017 to coach the U19 women’s Field team. Sarah is originally from the Edmonton area. Sarah graduated from Limestone College in 2014. While at this NCAA Division II College, Sarah was the captain of her team in 2014 season. In 2010 and 2011, Sarah was a Member of Team Canada and was the team Captain leading the team to a Bronze medal in Hannover Germany. Sarah has coached Women’s Field in England and in Wales as well as in the USA. Alberta Lacrosse is very excited for Sarah to come on board with the Alberta program. The Canadian U19 Women’s Field Invitational (Jenny Kyke Cup) will be held in Calgary August 17-18 at the South Soccer Centre
