Midget Team Alberta Selected as the 2017 Alberta Junior Team of the Year
SHERWOOD PARK, Alberta-On behalf of the Alberta Sport Connection, the Alberta Lacrosse Association is pleased to congratulate the 2017 Team Alberta Midget Boys Box Lacrosse Team on being selected as the 2017 Alberta Junior Team of the Year. The team was nominated for this award by Leanna Dziwenka, Lisa Holan, Brad McFadden and Dana Power based on their outstanding performance in 2017.
Press Conferences will be held on February 26 to announce all of the 2017 Award recipients, in conjunction with the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame Inductee announcements, in Red Deer, Edmonton, and Calgary at 11:00 am. We would be thrilled if as many of the team and coaches could make it to the announcements as possible.
The Award Presentation itself will be held on Friday, June 1, in conjunction with the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum Induction Ceremony in Red Deer, Alberta. The Alberta Sport Connection will be able to provide ten complimentary tickets to the ceremony. Additional tickets may be purchased for team members and family.
