Team Alberta Update

SHERWOOD PARK, Alberta—The Alberta Lacrosse Association (ALA) continues to explore several options for the Team Alberta programs in 2021 for the 14U female, 17U male and female, U15 men’s field, and U19 women’s field programs. Despite the suspension to team sports, the ALA remains committed to continuing its year-round programming for the 17U male and female box lacrosse teams and will look to add further programming in 2021 for the 14U female box program, as well as the U15 men’s field and U19 women’s field program.

Once there is guidance and clearance from the Government of Alberta, the ALA will update our members with concrete plans moving forward into 2021. 

Team Alberta Coach Applications

The ALA has extended its period for coach applications for the following programs:

• 14U Female
• U15 Men’s Field
• U19 Women’s Field

Canadian Lacrosse Association’s National Championships

No decision has been made regarding the status of the 2021 National Championships.
