Coach For Us!

The ALA is proud to be offer a new and improved, province-wide, community-focused lacrosse initiative called Lessons-in-Lacrosse. Aimed at increasing the participation in and the awareness of lacrosse across the province, the programs of Lessons-in-Lacrosse focus on learning the fundamentals and history of the sport, physical literacy, and most of all fun.

To deliver this program we require enthusiastic coaches from all over the province keen to be positive ambassadors for the sport and organization. Specifics we’re looking for, include:

• Community Development Trained in either box, men’s field, or women’s field. Coach Initiation in Sport with lacrosse coaching experience may be considered. 
• Daytime availability.
• Access to a vehicle.
• Passionate about sharing the sport of lacrosse.
• A minimum of one year lacrosse coaching experience.
• A minimum of 18 years of age.
• Clean Criminal Record Check current within the last six months.

Equipment pick-up and drop-off may be required. Lesson plans will be provided. Coaches will be compensated.
